Get ready to create your NEW work at home career!!!

I am so excited to introduce you to my 10 Week Home Study Course, (which also includes a year-long apprenticeship with me, Alysia Doyle!)

This course will take you from being a beginner level artist (you don’t have to know how to draw anything but a stick figure at this point), to being an IN BUSINESS Vector Artist! 🙂

Here is a look at my 10 week Apprenticeship Program (instant access)

Curriculum (1 new topic, each week):

class ads intro to vectors beginner copy          introtocoreldraw5 copy

working with fonts          web and print copy

editing stock vectors copy          clipart design copy

building a brand copy          saving and prep for resale copy

character design copy          setting up shop copy

Please Note~ This is a self paced course! I teach this course in 10 week segments, that you can take at your own speed. If it takes you longer than 10 weeks, that is perfectly fine. You may choose to even finish it in 6 or less. That is fine also, but I find that one topic a week leaves sufficient time for practicing each new skill. You are, however, free to work at whatever pace is most comfortable for you. 🙂

This course includes a TON of video and PDF material that I include in your weekly lessons, and if you run into any questions outside of the material provided in these lessons, you can ask me directly, as well as discus topics with your fellow MPAP Students in my private Facebook Group, “The Pickle Jar”.

Throughout this course, I teach you my entire business. I WISH that I would have had this type of information and tutorials laid out for me when I first began to explore computer drawing and web design! Don’t get me wrong… You have a lot of work ahead of you if you want to do this professionally, including dedicating your time to lots of practice, but this time will be spent developing your personal style, and the niche market that will be the best fit for your interests and skills! The good news is, I have completely removed all of the guess-work, and this kind of job has never been a job for me… It is a ton of FUN and an amazing passion that I get to share with others! I know that once you explore your own strengths and interests, you will find your perfect place in the beautiful world of vector design! 🙂

IMPORTANT 2016 COURSE UPDATE~ THIS COURSE NO LONGER INCLUDES THE APPRENTICESHIP PORTION! With the Apprenticeship portion included, this course use to be priced at $350, but since it has been removed, I am able to offer it to you at a much lower price! You still have access to the student forum, where you are free to ask me questions, but you no longer have to turn in homework assignments for review, nor do I offer critiques or one-on-on mentoring to new students. I do still offer this to students who enrolled in 2015, but due to the high volume of demand, and honestly a lack of time, I have removed the apprenticeship program, and the required homework from this course. All of the homework assignments are still listed in the material, and you are free to use them as practice guides to build your portfolio (in fact, I highly recommend it), but non of this is required as of 2016. All of the course lessons and information is there for you, and you are free to take it at your own pace.

Materials you will need for this course:

  • A Windows Desktop Computer or Laptop (you do not need a graphics tablet, I just use my laptop mouse) *If you have a MAC, you will have to run Parallels on your MAC, since CorelDRAW is a Windows compatible program. Although this option may work for your MAC, I would recommend getting your hands on a Windows computer. I use a cheap $250 Windows 8 HP laptop, and it works great for everything I need to do and more. ***Windows Vista is NOT compatible with the newest version of CorelDRAW x7, so make sure that your system can read the version of CorelDRAW that you chose to work with.
  • CorelDRAW (I use CorelDRAW X5 with Windows 8, but any version is fine, as long as it is compatible with your computers operating system). There is a free 30 day trial that you can download for this program, before you decide to buy. There are two buying options that Corel offers. You can purchase the Full Version, or opt for a monthly or yearly subscription for the software. 🙂 I have also had students tell me they were able to find the Student Version of CorelDRAW at Office Max as well as Best Buy or a more affordable price (around $129)… You may also be able to find a used version or CorelDRAW on eBay or Amazon, but please be careful of who you buy from, since there are people out there selling bootleg copies.
  • I use Photoshop Elements for my Photo Editing Software. I teach with this program and got it for $70 at Walmart. This program is *optional for the course, (but highly recommended), and if you want to save some money, you are free to explore some free photo editing programs, like Gimp.
