“I’ve been thinking of taking this blog in a new direction. I’ve got so many ideas in my head and slowly i’ll be making a few changes around here and I am very excited!!
To begin with, I’ve decided that although the girl in my header is cute, it looks absolutely nothing like myself. I decided I wanted a new custom made illustration, however, I was faced with the issue of finding an illustrator whose work I liked and whose prices were affordable (I am a student after all!).
I’d spent a few weeks searching online when I found this post. April from A Mommy’s Blog Design Studio had designed the current design of my blog and I remembered how awesome she was and figured if she was taking on a new team member then this person had to be pretty good.
And I was right.
After spending just 5 minutes browsing through Miss Pickles Design Studio I was completely hooked. Her style was exactly what I was looking for and I sent her an email almost immediately.
Working with Miss Pickle was great – she listened to my ideas, asked questions so the design would reflect my vision, suggested a website for picking a color scheme and was very professional yet personable at the same time. Within just a few days she managed to take an idea in my head and create something absolutely magical with it. I am in awe of her creative abilities and how she managed to capture my vision so perfectly!
If you give Miss Pickle a picture of yourself then she’s able to create the character as a cartoon of yourself! I am incredibly happy with the design and will definitely be using her service again in the future. Thanks Miss Pickle!!
