Blog Design Policies and Terms of Serivce

Booking a Project:

If you would like to book a project, please Contact Me! I book clients on a first come, first serve basis, and my design slots depend on my project calendar. There may be a waiting list for projects, so please take a look at my Booking Availability page for a quick idea of what my calendar looks like, and if I am currently open to new customs. 🙂


Payment & Refunds:
All payments are made via PayPal Only. You do not need a PayPal account to make your payment. PayPal accepts payments via credit cards as well. Complete payment for your approved design project is due before you will be added to the design schedule.

I do not allow cancellations or refunds, once a design project has been started. This is a strict no-refund policy, as I am being paid for my time, so please do not submit any order forms or make any payments until you are sure you would like to move forward.


Communication and Drafts:

After the Blog Design plan has been finalized and the complete payment is made, I will scheduled add you to my project calender. First drafts usually take from 7-10 business days to deliver, once your project has been started, but this can very greatly on your design requests, especially if you have ordered custom graphics to be illustrated.

I handle all communications via email. Please allow up to 48 hours for an email response.

Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm Eastern Time, with the exception of holidays. I try to spend the weekends and evenings with my family.

You will receive up to 3 drafts for your new blog design. Turn around time for each draft depends on the number of edits that are requested, and can take anywhere from 2-5 business days. If you require more than three drafts, you will be charged by the hour for my additional time/services, with a minimum of 1 hour, at $35 an hour.


Template Installation:

We will install your blog design 1-5 business days after the Final Draft has been approved. You are responsible for backing up your current content, HTML layout, and widgets. We will ask you to backup your content before installation begins. Miss Pickle’s Design Studio cannot be held responsible for the loss of any widgets, text, and/or coding when your new blog design is installed. You should not lose any of this when we install your design but rarely something strange will occur and the functionality of a widget will disappear.

*Please do not enter your dashboard, or edit your blog in any way, while your installation is underway.

If you would like me to make changes to your blog once your installation is complete, an additional design fee will apply. Fee will vary depending on the complexity of the change but will start at 1 hour of design time, which is $35.


Blogger to WordPress Transfers:

I do not offer transfer services for your Blogger or WordPress Blogs. This is something that is highly technical and requires a site developer/code specialist. Please contact me if you need to be refereed to a developer/code specialist. I am happy to give you some names of people who can help you with your transfer!


Use of iStock Illustrations and Photos:

You must follow the Policies of iStock Photos (or any other stock photo sites/Illustrator’s) Licenses Agreement. You can find iStock Photos License information by clicking here and here.


If you would like me to incorporate an iStock image (or images by other stock photo site/Illustrator’s) into your blog design, you are responsible for purchasing the image file(s) with your desired licensing option, downloading the file(s) from iStock, and delivering the zip folder to me, via email, prior to the start date of your design project.

If you would like me to create custom graphics/vector illustrations for your blog, please order these items from me, prior to us beginning your blog design project. 🙂

Miss Pickle’s Design Studio cannot be held responsible if you miss-use or do not follow iStock Photo’s (or any other site/artist’s) License Agreement.


Copyright and Credits:

Miss Pickle’s Design Studio retains the Copyright to your complete blog design. No portion of your template design (including but not limited to graphics and coding) can be copied or redistributed in any way, for either personal or commercial use.



Depending on the design project we may need your username and password for your accounts. This information is kept private and is only used for the intended purpose of installing a design. After the project is complete then you may change your username and/or password if you feel the need to.


Designer Credits & Links:

For all Blogger Designs I do include a designer link on the bottom of all of the templates I create. Please do not remove this.

For most blog design I also include a Miss Pickle’s Design Studio Banner Link in your Sidebar. You are free to remove this, if you wish.


Affiliate Links:

For products that I require to be purchased (such as the Genesis Framework for WP Design), I include my affiliate links on my website. You are not required to purchase these items through my links, but I it is greatly appreciated!
